made from scrap
Laurel and I went away overnight to Amish country last weekend to celebrate Valentine's day together. On the way home we stopped and had lunch at the Amish Door in Wilmot. We brought home leftovers and last night I gave John one of the rolls to eat as a snack because he was hungry at bedtime (what else is new?). He informed me that he really likes the rolls from Amish Door because they're "made from scrap". Well maybe not quite as appealing as "made from scratch" it was still pretty cute.

You're probably too young, but Art Linkletter used to have a segment called, "Kids Say the Darndest Things". I think John and Rose would be perfect for it. And just remember, it makes perfect sense to them!
